Design Flow Curves Graph PDF: In his March/April 2006 “Lessons Learned” column, Joe Scott discussed a graph that converts drainage fixture units to gallons per minute. Developed by Robert S. Wyly and Herbert N. Eaton in their scientific paper “Capacities of Stacks in Sanitary Drainage Systems for Buildings/Plumbing Stacks Capacities,” the graph is known as “NBS Monograph #31” and was published by the U.S. Department of Commerce in 1961.
